Ariana Luna was a very, very strange child. This was, in all honesty, nothing new. Really? People should start to expect this from her. The sadness of yesterday was fully gone and, seriously? She didn’t even remember it! She was in happy perky mode again. Which could be seen by what she was currently doing. She was currently amusing herself in the amphitheater. Ria had developed a new weird habit of purposely being in rooms at times when they would be empty so that she could amuse herself. Ria could, in all honesty, very easily entertain herself very easily all on her own. She had been doing this for years after all. Her parents had decided when the Twins were about…oh…six or seven that they would travel. Ash, her mother, had been a nomad all her life and found it hard to sit still for too long. And her father practically lived to indulge her mother on the women’s strange whims. So they had gone off on to the road.
Ria had learned early on to entertain herself. She had no one else because her and Zay never could sit still and play nice with each other for very long. They were just too different from each other. So Ria entertained herself, bouncing around and about the place they were staying in, whether it was a hotel room or the Big Bus, as she had called it as a kid. Mostly by acting like a nut and making the rest of her family laugh. It was kind of what she did best. Ria was out of her mind, but she was totally happy to be that way. Those that loved her loved that about her. They loved that she was happy and spontaneous. Hell, she loved that she was happy and spontaneous. It kept her from thinking about things like blood and broken bodies in alleyways… Yesterday had been a bad day. Yesterday she had almost let Kaleigh take control, which would have been bad. Ria knew this even if she didn’t know who her other personality really was. They had never been properly introduced. This line of thinking induced a round of laughter from Ria.
So Ria was currently happily being out of her mind. It took her mind off of yesterday and put it firmly in the realm of today. How was she doing this now? She was blasting “Gypsy” by Shakira, not one of her usual artists but she adored the song cause it had such a happy beat and it was so easy to dance to, from her iHome. One of the few things she had gotten to take here with her. She carried it around with her a lot because it was a tiny thing that she could hide away in her bag and no one would notice where the strange noises were coming from. Well, not strange noises, it was music. But same difference! Right? Right! Strange noises were not music! Music was amazing and it was her happy place!
Ria laughed out loud, truly amusing herself. She was spinning around the stage on the Community Center. She didn’t really care whether or not she got caught, Ria didn’t think ahead to consequences like that. Therapy groups hadn't been in here when she had come in anyway! She just did what popped into her head. She got in trouble, well then she got in trouble. But that came later. That came later after she had had her fun and enjoyed herself. Any way, she was spinning and twirling around the stage, bouncing around to make the coins that dangled from the scarf like thing that hung from her waist jingle and make noise. Besides, the lyrics amused her. Only run with scissors when you want to get hurt It was just something that people around here seemed to say all the time. But see, Ria was different. Why walk when you could run? Why run when you could dance? Why be boring and mope about the bad things in life when you could have fun? ”Cause I’m a gypsy!” she belted out as she laughed and danced around.
She wasn't sure where Zay was, not at all. But that was okay! Zay could be such a spoiled sport, she wanted to have fun today not be all boring and dull like he wanted to be. Stick in the mud.
She saw someone else enter the room, and instead of doing the rational thing, Ria stopped and tilted her head a bit, making her rainbow colored hair slide to the side. It slightly got in her dark blue eyes, but she stubbornly pushed the hair out of her face. Her hair was always getting in her way sadly, it was nothing new for the wacky girl. She should probably cut it, but she liked her hair the way it was! She liked being an oddball with an odd hair style. It made her who she was. It defined her really, no one else had hair like her around her. Okay, well sure, other people had the same hair cut. But not many people had rainbows in their hair. Back to the person though! Instead of doing the rational thing like turn off the music and run like any sane person would do…Ria held out her hand with a wild laugh. ”Wanna dance with me?” she asked, laughing. Hey, if the person wanted to dance, Ria would be happy to have a friend to dance with!
