First thing you all should know. There are two breeds of people around here. Those are the Invitus, and the Volens. Translation? The Unwilling and the Willing. Trust me, the names explain it all but I’ll go in depth a bit.
The Invitus, now those guys I feel bad for. Probably because yours truly is an Invitus around here. The Invitus are those of us who aren’t insane…and just got stuck here on accident, passing through or looking for a place to settle down and didn't realize that they wouldn't be able to leave. See, the Girls decided to turn this place into a town, rather than an asylum. The only issue is that the crazies are still running around in here along with the normals. So in order to keep the crazies safe, anyone who comes in here can't leave. Those that try to leave all the time, and the crazies that try to leave, are called Invitus.
All Invitus wear this little metallic wristband…the type where once its on, there’s no getting it off. And this little device has two purposes. One is to identify them as Invitus. The other is…well there’s a tracking device installed in that little bugger. And it will explode the second the Invitus leaves Black Springs. Scary right? That’s the only thing that keeps all us Outcasts here. We really like our hands, thank you. I don’t need mine exploded off. Not to mention that pesky idea of bleeding out and dying. I’d rather stay here with the crazies, thanks.
Than there’s the Volens. The Willing. That probably isn’t the best title for these guys because I don’t think they’re all that willing either…but there are two types of Invitus...the crazies who know they're crazies, the people born here who don't want to leave, and those that have just given up and figure they're stuck.
All Patients (aka the crazies) sadly have to attend sessions with their shrink…and group activities. Plus, any teens have to have teaching sessions to control their magic and all that so that way theres no extra chaos flying around. Its bummer. But a necessary one. I’ve tried to argue that my blogs a pretty good therapeutic whatever, but no one seems to agree. Oh well. What can you do?
Oh, and the real bummer? Curfew. Everything around here, including Housing, locks up tight at 2am. Its the Vamps I feel sorry for there, considering they barely get any night life!
Stay tuned freaks and nutters, I promise to keep you updated
