INNATE ABILITIES: Sera has a high level of patience (and even when she runs out she pretends to be patient still) and she also has a flair for writing poetry.
SPECIES ABILITIES

Sera is an Elemental Witch. But unlike other Elemental Witches, Sera can control all the basic elements due to her father’s experiments when she was young. They didn’t manifest until she was about 19 and have grown since then. She’s best with Earth, which is her natural element and the one she was born with control over. She can control all four, but she can’t control them at all times. To put it simply…she was a failed experiment in her father’s eyes.

When she’s mad she can control Fire, it comes as easy to her as breathing. However, when she’s calm she can’t touch it. When she’s emotional or upset, its Water that she can control with ease. Air comes to her when she’s happy, safe to say Air isn’t her usual element. Earth is always with her being that she was born with it.

She has a silver Caster, inlayed with emerald gems for holding her energy and a smokey Egyptian Mau, male, named Shadow who is her familiar. She can cast high level spells do to her father’s training, but refuses to rely on her magic when she could do it just as well on her own.

HISTORY:

Sera was born two years after Vira was. That’s all she knows about her age, she’s forgotten the year she was born…she claims she looks 23 so that’s the age she claims. When Sera was born, her mother kept her close and watched over her. She didn’t want Sera to get into her father’s clutches like Vira already had. It was just best for Sylvie to keep hold of Sera. She would often go out with the little girl, and Sera adored the attention even at that young age. Her mother was a poet and would read them to little Sera even when she was too young to understand, which is where Sera claims to have gotten the skill from. Even when, at two years old, Sylvie was pregnant with the twins…Sera still hung around her mother. She just…didn’t want to be around her father, he scared her. Little kids know these things. Nurses were brought in to watch Vira and Sera while Sylvie was pregnant, but Sera wasn’t going to move. Even when her father tried to forcibly move her…Sylvie said to let her stay there. So stay there Sera did, right by her mother’s side. By this time, Sera was looking just like her mother.

And then, soon after the twins were born, Sylvie tried to stand up to Xavier to take back her oldest daughter from him and she threatened to leave and take all the girls with her. Xavier killed their mother that night…and only Sera actually knows that it’s Xavier that did it. Vira was too crazy even at that young age…the twins were always told she died in child birth…but Sera was old enough to know what had really happened. She kept the knowledge to herself though.

Soon after...a year later...Vira went nuts. Like out of her mind nuts. Sera still saw her smart sister in there...somewhere. And refused to treat her different. She claims this is where she learned her patience, dealing with Vira. The girls were raised by nannies because Xavier rarely actually raised them. That wasn't their point. Their point to him was to be his subjects.

It was after the twins learned how to walk that Sam came into their life. The Australian Death Angel began training them with Xavier's harsh regiment for them, and started to drill it into all of them how to defend themselves and be better. Xavier wouldn't stand for any of his daughters being less then the elite. Sera never really connected with Sam, but she was lucky she connected with her sisters at all really.

When Sera was seven, new people started coming into the town. People she didn't like. Seeing as Vira acted like she was much younger then her years, Sera often took the rule of big sister. She developed a protective streak and refused to let any of the patients, as she later learned they were, near her sisters. She was a good big sister, but she was distant. She had learned a lesson with her mother: The things you love can easily be taken away. Xavier seemed to inforce that lesson too. But all the same she loved her sisters, in a distant type of way, and kept an eye on them, keeping them away from the patients.

This changed when Sera hit 13 and her powers came in. She only had Earth, just one element out of the possible realms of elements. Which, of course, wasn't okay by Xavier. It was when Vira was out of it or with Sam, there was no one to distract him...when he got ahold of Sera. He fiddled with her genes, attempting to give her all four of the main elements. The issue is that no one can handle opposing elements seeing as they invoke different emotions when cast...so it screwed with Sera's emotions but other then that nothing seemed to happen over the two years he fiddled with her genes. Frustrated, he left her alone.

If Sera thought she hated her father before, she really hated him now. She spent a good solid year in her room, refusing to come out and only ate when she needed to. She spent that year learning how to shove down her emotions so they wouldn't keep fluctuating. With her Caster, this is when she called Shadow to her and gained her familiar. He became her constant companion and often after this Sera would be on her own writing poetry. She knows her mother used to, even if she didn't remember her mother anymore.

Things passed like that for a while, Sera would often go out rather then stay home. She'd stay out for long hours and distance herself from her sisters. She'd rarely talk to them at all. At eighteen...that's when she got out. How? She tricked the system...she claimed her father had sent her to pick up a new patient for him and no one questioned it until it was too late. She went to college and went a little wild. But it was liberating for her to be someone new. Not just one of the Blake girls, a freak, an experiment. She let go.

Then at 19 the powers her father had set into her woke up. Suddenly she could control all the elements...depending on her mood. She freaked out. But she managed to learn how to control it slowly. It just took time. But she did it. She had already figured out how to shut down her emotions, it was merely a matter of keeping it that way.

Then she got called back. Lets just say she was less then thrilled. She didn't want to deal with all this. She did though, she came back. And found things were different. She took over the South District and the Teens because she was good with teens and patient. And now she's just hoping for the best...

PERSONALITY:

Sera is a very patient seeming young woman. She seems easy going and calm. She seems like she cares about the patients here and their well being. She seems to be the kind, and sane sister. But she’s like an iceberg, what she shows is only 1/8th, there’s so much more hidden under the surface. Underneathe it all she’s stubborn, easily pushed to anger, and easily made happy. She’s an emotional child. But her father made her that way…in order for her to take all the elements into her, so she resists it best she can because she hated her father.

Sera is one seriously stubborn child. She won’t use her magic unless forced to, she won’t do anything she doesn’t want to unless seriously necessary. And she won’t actively fight with her sisters until pushed to high levels of anger, so high she actually shows she angry. Usually she’ll sit back and watch them fight and take what they’re fighting over while they’re distracted. It’s what she does best. She avoids a fight, but once she’s in it watch out, because she’s not half bad.

When she was away from the town for those two years, she became a wild child, finally free from her father’s influence. She liked males, and playing with them. She got her tattoo and her navel piercing, she was crazy and loose and loved to party. She hid that part away because she has never shown her true side to her sisters.

GENERAL APPEARANCE

Sera’s one hell of a beauty if she does say so herself. She’s been told she takes after her mother, but she doesn’t remember her mother well enough to tell you. She is not the curviest of the Blakes, but she does have a figure. She’s also very petite and delicate seeming and looks almost shorter then her Five feet seven inches. She holds herself up high however. She tends to wear whatever is comfortable when in the comfort of her own home, but will dress up to be presentable around the patients and her sisters, and will always dress to impress if dealing with the staff. She has a curtain of dark straight hair and dark eyes, as well as slightly tanned skin. She has no piercings that can be seen…but if she is ever caught in something less formal it can be seen that her navel is pierced and she has a small question mark tattoo on the outside of her left ankle which is often hidden by her shoes. She likes to appear put together…and hide her wild child self.
