Click. Click. Click. Click.
Gold clacked against gold as Eva habitually clicked her nails against each other as she walked. It was the only indication of her presence; otherwise it was like she wasn’t even there. The clicking stopped for a short moment as the girl blinked and physically went from being a tiny, curly haired eight year old to someone older. Now her hair was short cropped with golden tips, though the expression never changed from bored indifference. She hauled her loose sweatpants up higher on her hips, having taken the moment to shift her robe into them from the girly dress she wore when she was tiny. Not that she wasn’t still tiny. Whatever. She resumed her clicking as she walked, her emotionless golden eyes scanning the streets as she walked. She didn’t do anything to get out of people’s ways as she walked. If they couldn’t get out of her way than that was their issue.
Eva was bored as shit. And that usually meant that she was going to visit one of the few people that made her a little less bored. Seeing as Eva couldn’t feel, she was always bored. There wasn’t any other state she really could be in. Nothing excited her or amused her. Nothing saddened her. She could dimly feel angry, but that was because she was quite mad, not because she actually felt anything resembling emotions. Eva’s thin arms were actually quite strong due to Eva having to walk around with them, considering they were covered in gold plating.
Eva yawned, not bothering to cover the motion seeing as that would stop her clicking and she always was clicking. It was a habit that she didn’t even notice any more. It just happened. All the time. She couldn’t help it but the noise comforted the abrasive child into a slightly less abrasive one. Slightly being the key word, not less. She liked insulting people, their faces were always worth it. Besides, she didn’t feel, and they could. It brought them down a peg in Eva’s eyes so she always did it because she hated being the way she was. But Eva was born this way.
A science experiment.
She only had one friend she actually gave a shit about, which was why she was heading over towards the Casa. Most people couldn’t handle her only friend, Eva could with ease. It was because Eva was surprisingly good with crazy people and Vira didn’t get offended by the bitchy things that Eva was always saying. They worked well together. Plus, Eva was a death angel like the other girl and Eva was also in the kids section because she usually had the form of an eight year old. Though mentally she always felt older than her hundred and eight years, still a child in the eyes of the Council but whatever. They could deal with life. It was the fucking Council’s fault she was here anyway.
Eva dimly rubbed the long scar that ran up her arm where they had cut into her to study the way the gold had naturally grafted to her hollow bones thinly enough to allow her to still fly. It had hurt. Sshe couldn’t feel emotionally, but she could still feel physically. And that had hurt. But whatever. The boys had broken her out so she was fine. Totally fine. She wasn’t some fucking baby to lament being examined when she was a science experiment anyway. It was like…her purpose in life or whatever. Whatever.
Eva walked into Casa de Crazy without bothering to knock. Eva wasn’t polite in the slightest and Vira usually didn’t expect her to knock anyway. ”Yo General Psycho! I’m here!” she called into the house before heading towards the kitchen like she always did. What? Vira usually had better food than the damn House did.

"Vira! How long are you going to be in the shower?"Sam called outside of her bathroom door, he knew that she could hear him, he could hear the giggling from inside of the water. Every time he spoke, she giggled. "Vira! I am not amused!"she giggled again and Sam rolled his eyes moving away from the door.
He smiled a little, mostly because he was actually slightly amused, but he could lie he wasn't scared or anything. He walked out of the master bed room that was Vira's it was covered completely in purple. Which didn't surprise Sam being that the girl was completely obsessed. It wasn't her fault exactly. Her father had been experimenting on her and it went wrong making everything about her purple from her hair down to her nails.
He shook his head leaving her room and walking out into the hall way, unlike Vira's room everything else in the house was definitely not purple everything else was black. Vira liked black too and since her father had lived there, everything was black because of that too, When he died, Sam had half expected Vira to go and re decorate everything so that it was purple but she hadn't. Mostly because unlike her other siblings she really had a soft spot for her father.
Sam didn't know why, the man had been a bastard. He shook his head, his brown curls shaking as he did. He didn't want to delve into that. He didn't want to have to worry about the many things he had witness over the years. He thought of heading to the work out Arena he was going to have to go there anywhere because he had appointments today but that wasn't for hours.
He shrugged and walked down the grand stair case, running his hand through his brown hair and his blue gray eyes looking bored as he did it. He was pretty hungry, maybe he would go cook something up and eat it. He grinned. Sam loved to cook, He cooked up random things all the time. New things, old things anything he wanted. He smiled a bit as he kept walking down the stairs. It was a big house, the stair case was like that of a mansion.
He heard a voice down at the bottom of the stairs and Sam smirked a little. He knew who it was, Vira very rarely had visitors. Even if she did there was only one person who would just walk right into the house and not wait for the butler to come and let them in. That was Eva.
He shook his head, Impossible that one. She frustrated him to the point where he let his accent slip. Sam never let his accent slip, mostly because he doubted anyone who lived here knew what Australia was, let alone have them knowing that he had an Australian accent. He didn't need all the questions. He shook his head. She was headed to the kitchen, he knew it so he took a deep breath and then walked in there to see her standing there.
"Vira is upstairs in the shower and has been for last hour, so no yelling is gonna do any good"he smirked and walked passed her going towards the fridge. She was probably going to say something Snarky, that was her and he could always depend on that from her. He shook his head opening the door of the fridge and then taking out some random ingredients. She was probably going to eat what ever he made, the question was, What was he going to make today?

Eva didn’t hear the chaos as she moved into the Casa, not actually caring that no one was there to let her in. Normal people waited for the boring ass butler. But honestly? Jensen didn’t like Eva very much and the feeling was completely mutual. Eva hated the man, he was a prick. Stick up his fucking ass if you asked Eva. She hated him, yep. And trust you me, if there was one thing Eva could feel it was hate. She hated a good many people. It didn’t stop her from just being a bitch to the man like she was to everyone else, in fact it encouraged it.
She called out into the house without much of a care, continually clicking her nails which echoed into the house which was empty aside from footsteps coming from upstairs. She didn’t even pause to wait and see if Vira would answer her, she moved to go into the kitchen. The fosters at her place sucked at cooking and she could always get a good meal around here, in between the men that lived in this place, even if she knew she bothered both of them. Eva’s mouth twisted into a smirk, but it was more of a learned reaction, something she did because she had trained herself to. Not something she actually did because she was amused. Eva couldn’t be amused after all. She couldn’t be anything.
Not many people knew how often this fact plagued her thoughts.
Eva turned, pausing on her quest for the kitchen when she heard noise on the stairs. Sam. She arched a brow at him. That man frustrated her, always messing with her just cause he could. It drove her up a wall. She knew she frustrated him right back, and she planned to keep that up if she could help it, it was too much fun to piss people off. Hey, if she couldn’t feel she’d take advantage of the fact that they could. It made the world even in her eyes, karma and all that. She still kept going into the kitchen anyway and he sorta met her in there or whatever.
When Sam spoke Eva sighed, again cause she had taught herself the habit. It was a little slower than a normal persons would have been, but that was because it wasn’t natural to her. She would have been frustrated if she was capable of being so. She had come to amuse herself and the girl that amused herself enough that she stopped clicking her nails was shut up upstairs. Just wonderful. Of course. She rolled her eyes. ”Ugh, Psycho. Of course she is, probably thinks she’s a fish” Eva grumbled, though no emotion flickered across her face or her voice, it wasn’t a possibility for her. Well, at least she could amuse herself insulting Sam and frustrating her as much as possible. That was always entertaining enough for her.
Plus, if Vira wasn’t here, the gloves were off. Vira hated her friends fighting and as far as Eva knew, Vira only considered Eva and Sam as her friends….Eva actually had no idea what she considered her sister. Eva knew she hated them, that was all she cared about. Anyway, without Vira there to get upset, Sam and Eva both didn’t have to hold their tongues. Which was good considering the pair often came to verbal blows with each other. She found him frustrating, he found the same. He aggravated her madness. And her in general.
He started getting out things to cook and she hopped up on the counter, tiny thing that she was the move almost made her look like a child. Almost because if you looked into her eyes, there was no way that, even when she was eight, you could confuse her for a child, she was too…old in the eyes.
She watched him do it, fully intending to steal a bit of whatever he made and he knew she was going to do it too, she knew that much. ”So whatcha making Samantha?” she asked, she was teasing even though there was no teasing in her voice. She always teased him about the fact that he cooked and baked and all that. He should be used to it. Either way, she wouldn’t admit this out loud, but he was a pretty epic cook.
Yeah, that thought was staying in her head.

This wasn't the first time that Sam had been alone with Eva. This happened all the time, Vira was always off doing something. Always off trying to be a monkey or cook herself in the oven or something entirely mad like that. So he ended up with Eva a lot.
The only problem was, A lion and a gazelle had a better chance of getting along before they did. Sam grinned at the analogy, he didn't really care either way. Eva mad Vira happy, and if Vira was happy he was.
That was how it had always been, Sam always did what ever he could to make sure that Vira was happy, he hated seeing her sad. It was like seeing a child sad. A little five year old crying and Vira was the biggest five year old he had ever met. She was twenty four and yet she never got to that age in her head, if she had she would have ended up much like her father he presumed. Which always made him feel bad because honestly he preferred her insane than anything like that bastard was.
That was the problem for another time. He saw Eva now in the kitchen, she had been yelling and she was probably yelling for Vira. It's not like she had come here to see him or anything. Vira was currently in the shower and had been for practically the last hour so he didn't expect her out of it any time soon.
Looked like it was just him and Eva.
Joy. He rolled his eyes and a ran a hand through his curly mess of hair at the moment. He had said to her that Vira was up in the shower and no yelling was going to do any good and she answered back with a sardonic remark as usual.
Eva was never Serious about anything, At least Sam had never ever seen her be serious about anything. She was always sarcastic always insulting. He didn't know why but he didn't care enough to try and find out either.
What she said was that Vira probably thought she was a fish and that actually made him grin at her. This was true, Vira had this line of thinking. She would think that she was fish or something, at least until she got upset that the shower didn;t have enough water for her to swim around in.
"Yeah, your probably right"he said as he walked over to the fridge thinking of what he was going to make to eat and how she was so going to mooch off of what ever it was. Whenever they were both in the kitchen she always took some of what he made. It was like she couldn't help herself. He didn't much care though, Sam knew that he had cooking talent and that he was pretty happy to share it with her. Even if he couldn't stand her most the time.
She hopped up on the counter and Sam rolled his eyes, Just like clock work here. She was going to ask him what he was going to cook or make fun of him for cooking, something to that effect. Sometimes she acted like as much of a five year old as Vira did but that was something for another time.
She asked him what he was making and he rolled his eyes at her because she called him Samantha. See, he had knew that was coming. He brought over all the ingredients he had taken from the fridge and brought them over to the oven that was right next to her and just smirked as he started preparing things.
"I am cooking something that your not getting anything thank you. Samantha doesn't like to share"he said with a big grin sent in her direction as he continued to get all of his stuff together. If she was going to be a bitch as usual then he was going to keep up with being a dick. Thus was the friend ship.

Eva would have sighed if she bothered to display the emotion. As it was, she kept her usual neutral face on. It wasn’t a mask, never a mask, because she was always in neutral. Or aggravated, though the aggravation was more due to the fact that she was mad than anything else. And as for right now? She was plenty aggravated. She had to deal with Sam. Wonderful. The pair of them never got along, Eva came here to see Vira not him. He got on her last nerve and usually had her shouting in his face, stirring her madness to the point that she actually got angry.
Wonderful.
But at the same time, if she could get food out of this deal, then she could possibly live with it. He was a good enough cook, it was why she usually dealt with it, even though he often didn’t want her stealing his food. Oh well for him, she would anyway. He said Vira was locked up in the shower. Did this really surprise Eva? No, not really. She was used to Vira being a nut. It was why the pair of them worked as friends. Vira never took Eva’s insults as what she really meant, she knew it was just the way Eva was, or rather she was too insane to think Eva might really mean them. And Eva had grown up around people who were mad and insane, so Vira’s madness didn’t phase her in the slightest. She just took it and kept moving along.
Besides, she liked Psycho. In some weird corner of her mind where she could actually like people, Vira mattered to her.
Either way, Vira being in the shower meant that it was just her and Sam. Joy. She rolled her eyes a bit. Just what she needed, to be aggravated by the most annoying death angel she had ever met. And she had met a lot. Eva wasn’t that old. But she wasn’t young either, the tiny doll like girl had seen plenty in the hundred and eight years that she had walked this world and not all of it pretty. In fact, most of it wasn’t if the long vertical scars on her arms were any indication of this fact. She hated those damn things, enough to expend a small amount of energy to make them disappear unless a person looked hard enough.
She smirked though when he said she was probably right. It was the proper reaction, wasn’t it? He had said she was right, that rarely happened and it should have made her smug if she was able to be so, so she reacted like she would have if she had been able to be. She tried to keep her emotionless state to herself, she didn’t want to be used for it again, she had had enough of that with her aunt, thank you. She wanted to live her own life now.
That was when she hopped up on the counter. She had originally had every intention of cooking for herself, but if Sam was going to cook than she was just going to steal from whatever he made, it was more amusing that way if you asked her. Besides, as much as she made fun of him, he was a damn good cook and way better than she could ever be. So whatever he made would be better than whatever she would make for herself. Which instantly translated to Eva going to steal from whatever he made. She still teased him though for cooking, calling him Samantha. It was an automatic reaction to tease or mock, she didn’t even have to think about it anymore, it just happened.
She watched him pull out things and he answered her. But his answer made her snort. It wasn’t very lady like but since when did Eva worry about being a lady? Never. She did what made her happy, or whatever would have made her happy. As it was, she did her best to entertain herself but often she was just left feeling bored. Such was her lot in life. Distractedly she started clicking her nails again, which was what she did when she started thinking about how she was an experiment too much and it started to upset her. She didn’t let things get to her, that was weak and Eva wasn’t weak. The metallic clicking calmed her again, making her madness settle back down into calmness.
”You so should know me better by now,” was her final answer. ”Besides, I doubt Vira would be happy if she learned you didn’t let me eeeeeat” When all else fails, resort to blackmail. And her friendship with Vira was the ultimate black mail when it came to Sam, he did everything to make their mutual friend happy, while Eva didn’t try nearly as hard. Don’t get her wrong, she valued her only friend.
But she was emotionless after all, how far could she try?

All Sam had to do was stay calm and try not to fight with her. That was all he had to do. He just had to take a deep breath and not let her get to him like she did every single time they met.
Sam sighed mentally. Half the time he wanted to just tell Vira to stop talking to her, it would make his life so much easier. Eva riled him to no end and he just couldn't understand it. He knew that she thrived on it though. He knew it even though he couldn't say anything else about her .
She never had any emotion on her face or anything which was something that bugged him more than anything. Who didn't have emotion? Who didn't smile or do anything that showed that they were actually alive? Did she even feel anything and why did he want to know so badly?
He rolled his eyes as he stood there getting his food ready.
He had said that Eva was probably right and he caught the smirk on her face but for some reason it didn't seem real. It just seemed awkward like it was seconds too late. He shrugged it off, what ever issues she had they were none of his business and for that matter he didn't want to know.
He just wanted to get her out of his hair and away from his food, he smirked at that thought. He knew his food was good so it was a compliment that she wanted to take his food so much he just didn't want her to have any. Because she was her and she pissed him off. So there for she got none of his food.
Sam started cooking while she was silent. He loved cooking, when he had been really young and his bastard of a father and his brothers were out and doing things that he never really wanted to speak of ever again. He hated his family and his mother...well there was another subject that he so didn't want to get into.
The point was, that when they were gone and Sam was alone in the house because they never took him along because all he would do would be to tell them how wrong they were. Sam would go to the kitchen find things that he liked from the fridge and make something out of it. What ever he wanted, he made new combinations of things all the time and he kept up the tradition now.
He smiled as he just randomly put crap together, still very aware of Eva's presence near him. He didn't care she could be as silent as she wanted to be. It didn't bother him, he didn't care what she was thinking about. She was probably thinking about how much she hated him. Oh well. He could care less.
She spoke saying that he should know her better by now and something to the effect that she was going to blackmail him into giving her food and Sam started laughing, Out right laughing. She was going to start using unfair tactics? He shook his head a bit and turned toward her letting his little thing of food simmer in the frying pan he had taken out.
"What makes you think Vira is going to mind that i'm not giving you my food? You can make it your damn self"he said with a grin as he went back to cooking his food. "besides...Save your attempts at black mail for someone who gives a shit"
He said with a big grin, he turned the stove off and took what was in the pan and put it on a plate he had out then took a fork and dug in he took a big forkful then walked over to her and put it inside his mouth with a big grin. He loved being the ass that he was, especially when he was being an Ass to her. He grinned "Looks good doesn't it?"then he moved back over to his plate and continued to eat.
What the hell was she going to do about it?

Eva constantly clicked her nails against each other. It was a constant metal clicking that irritated others, but ultimately calmed Eva quite easily. It was odd considering it was a reminder of what she was, what she could and couldn’t do, but it was also who she was. The gold was calming, it was something she could have that no other death angel could have. It was a relaxant for the experiment child.
Either way, Sam tended to irritate her and set her off. It was so fucking annoying to the tiny little death angel that he was always smiling, always sarcastic. That he could feel and he flaunted it more than most because he was always fucking smiling while she couldn’t. If she smiled it looked almost painful. The closest she could get was a smirk. Stubborn fucking asshole could do more than her and it pissed her off. Plus he got to live with the other person she gave a shit about. She knew she could probably crash here too if she tried, but she never bothered really.
She watched him cook as she sat up on the counter, fully expecting to steal from him. She wasn’t sure why he irritated her so much. Maybe it was because he was sane? Anyone sane had only ever hurt her after all. She couldn’t help but be wary of people like that because of that. But hey, she would still hang around him for his food. She had to deal with him either way though because of the fact that he was always with Psycho and she was Eva’s only friend, the only friend she wanted also. She didn’t give a shit about other people. Wonder why.
Eva sighed but there was no emotion to it, just a practiced movement or expression to show she was annoyed, if she could be annoyed. She shook her head, shaking the thoughts away because she didn’t want them anymore. Sam cooked better than her brothers at least. Not that they were ever her brothers, they were just the people that she was with because they were experiments like hr too, from the same batch as her too. So she felt a kinship to them because they were all created for the same reason. They were all also entirely mad really, but so was she. She still was from time to time, but she was better lately. She had people to distract her.
Like Sam as much as he pissed her off. But mostly Vira. Vira she got, the girl was nuts and didn’t get pushed away by Eva’s need to be a bitch, it all worked out just fine. Eva watched Sam cook in that detatched way of hers, not really caring enough to speak or comment, barely caring enough to stay there. It was a delicate balance with Eva. She usually simply…left. She got bored and she moved on. It wa show she was. She couldn’t stand being bored, she went somewhere she was entertained. It made sense to her.
Sam started laughing and Eva rolled her golden, black streaked eyes, though the movement meant nothing truthfully. ”You’re infuriating, Ass” she said ismply to him. Because he was. He should know she’d take the food anyway, she wasn’t going to sit here and watch him eat and she didn’t feel like cooking herself now that he had cooked up something that would be better. Call her lazy, call her a scavenger, she wouldn’t give a shit. So you’re best off telling someone that would actually care.
She watched him with an arched brow as he came over to eat a forkful of what he had in front of her face, trying to piss her off more than usual. Wow, that was so mature, wasn’t it. She rolled her eyes at him again even though, once more, the movement was off, too practiced, not real enough. She could never move real enough. For a moment she thought about Ponochio and almost laughed if she could actually laugh. But she couldn’t. Either way she just watched him with an arched brow and waited until he was back at his own plate.
Eva had been trained to be an assassin. She couldn’t fight in combat, but she was quite and sneaky and she could kill a person before they knew she was there, her claws helped for that. Not that she would kill Sam, that would upset Vira. Instead she made use of her sneaky powers to hop off the counter, come behind him, and reach around him to snag a bite of his food and pop it into her mouth. She then grinned at him like the minx she was. ”Yeah, tastes good too”

Sam hated how Eva clicked her nails. It drove him absolutely insane. Not that it wouldn't drive any normal person insane but possibly everything about her drove him insane. She was just so fucking infuriating he didn't know what to do.
From the moment Vira had brought her home all they had done was bicker on an off. She said everything plainly and with no emotion. This also drove him absolutely nuts. Was she entirely apathetic to anything anyone ever had to say? He sighed mentally it was a possibility. You could get thrown in here for that. Not that he was going to ask her or anything.
Not like they would be staying up all night braiding each others hair any time soon. Not that she had much hair to braid anyway. He had more hair than she did. He looked over at her, watching attempt a sigh. Even that didn't seem real. He had to wonder, was there anything real about this girl? Or was she just a fucking robot and he didn't know it?
He sighed a bit as well and stopped looking her over and went back to his food. Sam loved food, cooking was great escape for him, just like fighting was. Sam was always laughing and always being the happy one in the room. Mostly for Vira's sake. Cooking and fighting helped with that, they kept him happy because he could take out all of his frustration that way.
Then Eva would waltz in and fuck up his calm. Yeah that's right. She never ever failed to fuck up his calm. He could be in such a happy place where nothing in the world could touch him and then she would walk in and push all the wrong buttons and he would be raving. What the hell was it with this chick.
When Sam had started laughing Eva had rolled her eyes but the movement was off. He didn't say anything about it because he didn't want to get into it with her, like he had said before. They weren't bosom pals and he was not going to get into any intimate discussions with her any time soon.
She also called him infuriating and an ass. He scoffed and turned to look at her. Was she fucking kidding? She had no right to call anyone infuriating if she wanted to call someone that she had better go look in the mirror or something because he was not the infuriating one in this situation it was entirely her and it was always her. She started everything and Sam was always doomed to stoop to her level, just cause she pissed him the fuck off.
'Me? Me? I am the infuriating one? You have got to be fucking kidding me because from where I stand you are the most infuriating woman I Have ever met in my entire life!"he exclaimed. Sometimes she infuriated him so much that he slipped into his Australian accent.
He sighed a bit at that thought. he tried his hardest to hide his accent mostly because no one would really recognize it unless they weren't from this town or they had read about Australia or they had heard someone with the accent. He rather not have the questions about it and have to sit there and explain the fact that he was not originally from this part of the world. It just made things overly complicated and Sam did not need over complications in his life.
He had enough with Vira and Ms. 'I am going to bother you any chance I get' over here.
Sam had decided, one his food was ready that he was going to be an ass, like she had called him and go over to her and just flaunt the food in her face. Which he did and he had a grand time doing it too. How dare she think that just because he could cook that meant he automatically had to share with her? How in the hell is that fair? It wasn't exactly! He didn't want to share with her she didn't deserve his culinary art.
He had felt smug and he continued eating, that was when she came up behind him without a sound and plucked some of it from his plate and ate some and he turned to see her grinning at him and telling him how good it tastes.
Sam could feel his blood boiling. What the hell was her problem? How the hell was it fair that she got to take some of his food? She was so fucking annoying! He just wanted to..wanted to...Ugh he didn't even know what he wanted to do to her!
"See. There ya go. you say I'm infuriating? Your the one stealing peoples food when they don't want you too! Next time why don't you just make your own damn food next time?"he said yelling at her closely. She was so damn annoying next time he was not going to be held responsible if he just threw her right out the damn window!! She would just have to explain to Vira how she got out there.

Distractions, distractions, Eva always needed distractions. It was the only thing that kept her going for the past hundred and eight years after all. All that mattered much anymore. Not that anything mattered in the end to the apathetic half death angel. Being what she was had made her this way along with the gold that was in her nails. The gold that allowed her to make the metallic clicking sound that calmed her so when she clicked her nails together, one after the other. Thumb against the pointer, the middle, the ring, the pinky, the ring, the middle the pointer, so on and so forth. Over and over again. It calmed her along with the slight jarring that occurred with each click as metal hit more metal. It relaxed her enough.
Not enough to deal with Sam. It was never enough to deal with Sam. Eva could get slightly angry due to her entirely mad state and it was Sam that always pushed her to anger far too easily. He infuriated her. Drove her up a wall. Drove her to feel ever so slightly but that emotion was just anger, not one that the tiny girl actually valued enough to hold on to. She wanted the others Not the shitty emotion that was anger. The world could keep that one. Though she valued the warmth and fire it gave the usually unmoved girl.
So she called him what he was. Infuriating. And he scoffed at her and turned. Here it goes. She was ready for it. Another epic battle between Sam and Eva? Well Eva was ready for it, bring it on. She didn’t give a shit that she pissed him off. He pissed her off so it was all even in her eyes. He could fucking deal with it because she did and she didn’t go off giving long speeches about how she was really the infuriating one. Apparently he thought she was the most infuriating woman he had ever met. Well, why not act like it? She smirked, ignoring the fact that she had to twist her lips into it all on her own. ”Glad to know I’m doing my job then” she replied to his little speech with her eery calm happily. She didn’t care if it pissed him off that she didn’t seem rattled. That was the point after all, the point was to piss him off.
Because their fights would always happen. It was just a matter of time. She didn’t even bother to hop off the counter behind him when she said it. If she did it would put her much shorter than him, at least on the counter she had a bit of height and didn’t feel like she had to stand on tiptoe to insult him. That actually just made her more pissed off, not like she needed the help to be so, but it did. Ugh he pissed her off.
She shook her head when he went back to cooking, pausing in her clicking to run her fingers through her inch long black hair with its cold tips. She liked the way it stood up, even if it did make her look like a fucking pixie. She liked it. At least when it was this short it didn’t get in her fucking way and curl all over the place. She had inherited her mother’s curly mop of hair that was wild and impossible to control. So somewhere around 19 or 20 she had just chopped it off. Easier to deal with that way in her opnion and no one else’s mattered to her so that was that.
She watched him cook with a detatched eye until he had turned to eat in her face, so she had whirled around to steal from him and eat it in front of him when he had his back turned to her. She had done it to piss him off and because she was damn hungry. And yeah, she was far to amused, if that was the word for it, by pissing him off. But the hunger factored in, even if Eva did rarely get hungry. She wasn’t sure why. She blamed the fact that she was a science experiment on that one and got on with her life. Easy.
Usually Eva could keep her calm, but he was close and getting closer, in her face. Which she really did not appreciate in the slightest and refused to let it happen. No, not when she could and would retaliate to that type of shit. Who did he think he was yelling at her like that? Yeah, she had stolen his food. Big fucking whoop, it didn’t matter. Why the hell did it fucking bother him that much? Why was it because she could actually sneak and take it without him noticing? Macho ass. Eva knew in a fair fight she couldn’t take him, not without her nails. But with them and in a word fight? She could more than hold her fucking own.
”Like I give a fuck if you don’t want me to take it! Its just fucking food, get over it! I don’t give a shit if you cooked it, if I can take it I will. Deal with it!” she yelled back, feeling her madness swirl inside her, agitated that she was getting yelled at and chances were the black shadows were swirling in her golden eyes. She didn’t give a shit. She got right back in his face without touching him, just getting closer because she was pissed to high hell. Who did he think he was yelling at her like that? He wsn’t any better than her!

In the back of his mind Sam was wondering whether or not he should count backwards or whether he should just leave the room and maybe that would make it easier for him. Except he didn't feel like he needed to leave, it should have been her who had to leave. He lived here! He had been taking care of Vira just fine before she came along. Oh just fine, now she was here and made it her life mission to infuriate him every single minute of every single damn day.
Like he said before, not that he begrudged Vira a friend that was a female, she never ever had any female friends and Sam always felt bad about that because he didn't want her to be lonely. He wanted her to have a life and to have friends, but did her choice in friends have to be so infuriating? Couldn't she have liked someone who was a lot less...Eva? Perhaps some girl who liked running in the field with flowers and not someone who insisted on pissing him off every day with absolutely nothing to do about it. He could kick her for the way she acted towards him all the time.
What had he ever done to her? Nothing as far as he had known but knowing her it could have been a number things. You could never tell with the woman! She never ever made it clear where you stood, she always had that same imperceptible look on her face one that just held apathy towards everything and everyone. So if he had done something wrong it wasn't like she had given him any indication of this fact and even if she had, he could care fucking less! She was infuriating.
Like he had just explained to her that she was the most infuriating person he had ever met and what did she say? She guessed she was doing her job then. What the fuck was that supposed to mean? He knew what it was supposed to mean. I am here to annoy you Sam, I am here to annoy you. He just wanted to throw things, these were the effects that she had on him.
He was getting increasingly more infuriated. She had to do this, she had to take some of his food. He probably wouldn't even be as mad if she had asked and he simply denied her and that had been the end of it. But no she had just taken it upon herself to just go and take his food. Who the fuck did she think she was? Did she think she was special or something? She wasn't special! The only way she was special was in the fact that she especially got on his nerves. He smirked at his own little joke as he tried to calm himself down. If he could just calm himself then everything would be okay, it just didn't seem to wanna work out that way.
He had blown up at her. He blew up right in her face, she was just aggravating him so much, he just couldn't help it. How dare she take his food that he didn't make for her? He had specifically told her that she couldn't have any and she had taken some and for some reason that really set him off. He had blown up at her and it made him feel so good.
But she had retaliated getting right back in his face, he could feel her breath and he was so frustrated. He was going to blow up right back at her, He had to, she was getting on his damn nerves so bad. Who the fuck did she think she was, she did not have to be such a fucking bitch all the time. He was so frustrated with her. So frustrated with her that he still didn't know what he wanted to do.
"You think just because you are you, you get to take things that aren't yours? You are so sadly mistaken okay. No one gives a shit about who you are, your not the queen of anything so you don't get to take anything from anybody without permission? Didn't you lean manners anywhere?"he said he was still in her face as close as he possibly be without touching her, not that he wanted to or anything like that. He was so frustrated right now, he didn't care if she fought back with him right now, he was ready for battle and there was no way that she was going to win.

Eva was clicking her nails and getting pissed off somewhere distantly in her mind. It wasn’t possible for her to get entirely angry, that just wasn’t physically possible for her with her gold in her arms. It killed off any attempts of any type of emotion. She knew the temper came from the madness that she could feel growing inside hre and not from herself actually. But she didn’t care, as much as she hated the horrible emotion that was anger, it was something. And usually she didn’t get anything. But at the same time she didn’t want it. In some ways she liked being unemotional over being angry. When people are angry, they got sloppy.
Not that it mattered. When she was around Sam he got her angry. He just pissed her off each and every time she saw him. He grated at her nerves, and he pushed her past her nonchalance over into the realm of being so angry she felt herself losing her calm entirely. It made her nearly want to scream just to make him go away and leave her alone. She had just as much right to be here as he did! She was Vira’s friend too, and Vira was her only friend. She wasn’t going to give up on that any time soon. Not just because some asshole wanted her gone.
If Eva gave up every time some ass wanted her gone, she would have been dead by now. No one ever wanted her around. She was too creepy, too unemotional, too off in the head, to distanced, to everything. To everything that wasn’t right. But hey, she was a science experiment right? What did it matter if she was right or not? She was a failed experiment who had gotten shipped off to this place when they were done with her usefulness.
A slight shudder ran through the young woman and she rubbed her arms, rubbed the long vertical scars along her arms. Yeah, she couldn’t feel emotion. That didn’t mean she didn’t feel pain. She had refused to scream though, even when they had made her watch while they had cut her to the bone. She figured if she dreamed she would have nightmares about that. But there was another thing she couldn’t do if she wanted to: Dream. She wondered what that felt like all the time. How it felt to dream…
That wasn’t important right now. She shook her head, shaking herself from her head where she had gotten entirely stuck for a moment there. She did that only when she was around him. Or Vira. When she was on her own, she didn’t care because it didn’t matter. She didn’t have to try to be anything. She didn’t wonder about the things she couldn’t do. She just didn’t give a shit and cared only about herself. But then she came around these two and these thoughts started springing into her head all over the place. Maybe this was why she had never bothered to have any friends before. They just confused her and made her have thoughts about things she could never be or have. Dreams weren’t for Eva to have.
And then they were yelling at each other. Why? Because Eva had stolen a bit of his food and he had exploded. There was never a time that Sam exploded that Eva didn’t explode right on back. She didn’t know how to be calm around him, she lost her cool. Which should be impossible because it was…she was… She was incapable of feeling, so why was she sitting here feeling slightly aggravated towards him for yelling at her? She didn’t know and it didn’t matter, all that mattered was yelling at him because no one yelled at her like that and got away with it. She was going to fucking give him a piece of her mind. What? She had stolen his food and now he was going to have a stupid shit fit about it? It was a piece of food. But that wasn’t the point, they both knew it. They just pissed each other off constantly every time they came in contact with each other. It was a fact of life.
She was so close to him, she could practically feel him on her skin but she wasn’t close enough to touch, not yet. She was damn close though, she was pissed and getting in his face. ”No, I can take them because you’re too shit at defending to keep me from them! she yelled back, pissed off. Was she lying? A little bit. Sam was a damn good fighter, but that didn’t matter to her right now. Right now she was too busy being livid. ”And no…no I wasn’t! I’m sorry it pisses you off that people were too busy experimenting on me to know how to teach me manners, but I don’t intend to fucking learn either! It was just a fucking piece of food, grow up!” she yelled, getting closer, and now her nose was touching his. But she didn’t give a shit.
He aggravated her.

Sam was normally a very happy and level headed guy. He always kept his cool because it was part of the Martial arts that he learned. Ever since he was a child, he was easy to anger but at the same time he was the same guy who just took a deep breath and stepped away from the situation and let it go.
But her, with just her. With Just Eva he just could not keep his cool and he couldn't even figure out what it was that pissed him off about her she just infuriated him and the more he thought about the harder it was for him to figure it out what exactly it. Why did she have to be such a bitch all the time? Was it so hard to just be nice? Was it so hard to not be an asshole to everyone who is only nice to you?
Well, Sam wasn't exactly nice to her. He would say that it was her, she had started the little rift between them but he honestly didn't remember what or who had started it. They just had been pretty much at each others throats since the day they met and she never made it any better because all she ever did was bait him.
He was a happy guy! Happy happy happy! and she threw it off entirely. He didn't know what to do about it. He tried to meditate and sure it made him feel a bit more mellow but it when it came to her his blood pressure shot up threw the roof and he was immiediately mad again. It wasn't like he hadn't tried because he had tried and he had tried hard. He once meditated for an entire day and when he ran into her later they had fought once again and it drove him nuts to the point where he was always thinking about what was going to happen if he ran into her and what was he going to do and what was he going to say to her to take her down a few pegs and show her that's she wasn't going to make him back down and sure he never backed down but it had never gotten quite like this.
Right now they were so close that their noses were touching and he could feel her breath on him as they both yelled at each other back and forth. He was so heated right now he almost hoped that Vira would finally come out of the shower and interrupt this with a sad face because they were fighting and everything would calm down but at the same time he really just wanted to show her, show her that he didn't give a fuck what she said and that there was nothing that she could do that would make him back down, nothing that she could do that would make him break.
She was speaking now, saying that she could keep taking his food because he was too shit at defending them and he almost cracked and hit something, not her because he wouldn't hit a woman no matter how much she pissed him off but he almost hit something, almost broke the counter or something like that. He could defend anything! He owned an arena and work out gym for crying out loud. Who the fuck did she think she was? She wasn't anybody. She wasn't important! Ugh she was so aggravating. The most aggravating person that he had ever met in his life
"Me? I can defend anything against you!You wouldn't last ten minutes with me! You haven't got half of what I have!he yelled as she stood there in front of him and he just wanted to do something. Shake her hit something....He shook off all thoughts of doing anything as she responded again about people too busy experimenting on her to teach her manners and he rolled his eyes when she said she wasn't going to learn
"I wouldn't expect you to want to learn anything! Why would you? And I should grow up? You are the one who is stealing other peoples food and stupid shit. That's the work of a child which is exactly what you are being and what you will always be!"he yelled he was still so close to her and he had no intention of moving either because he had no intention of backing down. He was going to show her if it was the last thing he did, infuriating woman that she was. He always forgot to hide his accent in front of her. He always forgot his cool in front of her. It was time for her to go.

Eva had never questioned why it was only around Sam that she ever lost her temper this badly. Well, Sam and her mother but that was a totally different can of worms, and she was busy with Sam right now. Because he was pissing her off. He always pissed her off. It was a stupid emotion though, and she knew it wasn’t really real because she couldn’t feel, it was just her madness telling her to be a certain way and she hated that! She hated that he made her feel this way every time she was around him, and he didn’t even have to do a damn thing to make her fall into this pit either! Just be his stupid annoying self…and next thing she knew she was yelling away at him.
And today had started off well enough anyway. She had come here to see Vira, her only real damn friend in the fucking world since the boys had disappeared, but Vira was busy pretending to be a fucking fish or something in the shower. SO she was stuck out here in the kitchen with Sam. She would have made her own damn food but why bother? Sam was a better cook than she was and the food had been right there and he was being such a damn prick about keeping it from her just because he was an ass like that to her…and so she had done the only logical thing. She had taken a bit from him. Why? Because she could really. To prove she could.
Well that, and there was the tiny fact that she was pissed off at him and wanted to make him just as pissed off as she was. She wanted to wipe that smug grin off his face…he thought he could keep shit from her but she was tiny and not really noticed when she put effort into being quiet. So she had stolen a bit, and he had blown up at her. It was almost satisfying in a way. Except for the fact that him getting mad at her like that only made her temper worse and made her more angry. So here was the cycle…and it was running again. Surprise, surprise…no not really. It happened every time Vira wasn’t around… Vira hated fighting so they tried to behave themselves when they were around the very purple psycho. When Vira was off being insane, well then the gloves came off.
He said she didn’t have half of what he had and that almost made her crack up laughing, and it probably would have if she had a sense of humor. Being emotionless meant it was impossible for her to laugh, even that couldn’t be forced…not like a smile or a frown or something. But he was right, he was fucking right. She didn’t have half of what he had technically, because she was only half death angel and he was a full one. He didn’t even know how funny what he said was because she had never told him what she was. Why should she? It wasn’t any of his fucking business what she was. She didn’t even tell half the people she talked to, so why would she tell the ass that made her mad every time he spoke to her. All the same, it was ironic, and she couldn’t help forcing her lips into a smirk for only a second before she actually retaliated.
”Fuck you, think you’re so tough. Big shot, I could so fucking last ten minutes with you” she growled back at him, getting more angry as they kept speaking to each other. It was true, she could, as long as she stayed away from him and was allowed to cheat. He was stronger and better trained, but she hadn’t been an assassin for fifty years for nothing, she could avoid people like no one’s business. She was damn good at that…and it would probably agrivate him more, which only made her want to do it just to piss him off. That was the goal of today apparently, and she was totally succeeding. Too bad, he was doing just as well if not better at doing the same to her.
Eva was currently so in Sam’s face, even if she really was a tiny little thing, that she could practically feel him breathing and their noses were basically trouching. But all the same, she was so not going to back down. She would never back down from a fight and it would take ages before she’d back down from a fight with this man right here in front of her. ”Well you damn sure point fingers like a child!” she yelled back after he retaliated calling her the child. ”And why would I want to learn?! So I can be like you? Oh fuck no, I’d rather not learn and actually be a decent person!” she yelled back. Even though she never felt like a decent person, in her eyes, it was better than being like him. He pissed her off so damn bad…
