Iris was working tonight, she was behind the bar at Dark Kiss and she was really bored. Iris honestly didn't even know why she had taken the job here. To give herself something to do maybe...but there were other reasons too.
She wanted to make it easier for her to kill her kind. This club was made for Vampires and humans to interact and there were many killers that had come here and she wanted to get rid of them. Iris had some money she had accumulated quite a lot of it over time but she there was always room for more.
Besides it kept her busy and she made good tips because of the fact that a lot guys came in here expecting her to go with them and crap like that.
Tonight had been a pretty much slow night, she was dressed in her normal black corset and black skinny jeans. She had on her blue earrings that didn't really match, Not like there was much of a uniform for here, her long hair was pulled into a high ponytail so it didn't get on her nerves while she was working. Which she did quite often, it was still straight though. She kept it straight for work because she wanted to keep it looking slender. This was a somewhat classy place, despite the company. Not that she was trying to impress anybody here anyway.
There was no one to impress to begin with. Iris wasn't looking for men and she never intended on it either.
No one was really coming, though she saw a couple of guys glancing her way and Iris rolled her eyes. Really guys? she didn't have time for guys all they ever did was get her in big trouble and Iris could not afford to be in trouble. She was here to work and to find some way to get her and her best friend out, because there was no way she was spending a whole bunch more time in this psycho place. Yeah that's right, this place was so for psychos.
Iris smiled a bit, she had finally found Serrie and she was so happy about that. She really had missed her since she had left Fell's Church with no warning that Iris could figure out. Not that she had been paying much attention she thought with a bit of a frown, she then shook the thought off and leaned against the mahogany bar and waited to see if anyone else would come around.
Someone else was supposed to be working the back tonight but she had no idea who, she didn't really care though. She picked up a shot glass and a bottle of Tequila and then poured herself a shot.
"Well..Bottoms up"she said with a little bit of a grin. She downed the shot and put the glass down and looked around a bit. Since no one around there was no point for all the alcohol to go to waste. She normally only drank wine but she was working at a bar now, there was nothing wrong with her trying to taste some other stuff right? She was different now anyway. She was trying to do different things as well.
She poured another shot in the glass and downed it feeling the burn sliding down her throat. Perhaps Tequila wasn't for everyone. Not that it mattered anyway. She rolled her eyes and put the Tequila bottle back and then put the glass down and watched the people going by, still feeling the burn in the back of her throat. Alcohol did that to you, not that Iris would normally know she had been such a goody goody in her short life, even as vampire. She sighed a bit feeling more bored than ever and just wishing for someone to come and relieve it.
Didn't anybody want a drink tonight?
