Talon Mathers was a suave and sophisticated individual. He had the ability to knock women off their feet with a single glance and pretty much charm the panties right off them. He was smart and musically talented and more cunning than anyone he had ever known and that was not him being cocky (even though he often was) it was merely him speaking the truth. So how was it that he ended up in a place like Black Springs?
Betrayal that's how. Trickery, that's how. His own best friend whom he had known since he was a boy, that was how. The seductive vampire sighed a bit as he looked in the mirror he hand hanging on the wall of his room. He didn't need to think about that, to think about why he was in this crappy place for people who were insane. Hell of their leaders was the most insane person he had ever laid eyes on in his entire life (which was a long time) yet he was here.
He smirked a little at his reflection, Talon would sometimes succumb to sadness, special cases, but normally he would always make the best of a situation and that was what he intended to do right now. He was making the best of being in this place by being with as many women and drinking as much blood as possible. He grinned, the trick always seemed to work when he had done it before.
So here he was standing in front of the mirror, studying himself before he went out to the best vampire club he had ever been in. Dark Kiss, it was vampire and human mostly, it was where they could get more...acquainted in a safe environment. An attendant came and tended to the human as soon as the vampire was done with them and there was no harm and no foul. This was convenient for Talon, not because he didn't want to kill people per say because he had absolutely no problem with killing people, he had killed a lot of people in his time. It was more because being that he had only recently arrived here, he didn't know the hunting patterns and where all the vulnerable people were. Since he was smart, playing it low key at a club with willing women victims sounded like a good deal to him.
He fixed the black suit jacket he was wearing over the black silk button down he was wearing underneath and left it hanging loose outside of his pants with the top most buttons open and the biggest smirk on his face. He was going to turn heads tonight, not that he didn't already he always did but it was fun to watch it happen to feel the eyes burn into him, to feel them roam his body and wish that they would be the one that he would take home that night. Who knew would it be really?
He stepped out of his room and out of the Adult Center he was being forced to stay at and sniffed the wonderful night air. Talon loved night and not only because he was a vampire. He could walk out in the sun because of his age but most days he chose not to be awake during the day mostly because he loved night so much and had for a long time...Nights no longer made him think of her thank goodness...Her...why had he brought her up in his mind...he sighed and his usual smirk reappeared on his face and he sped off to the club, there was no time for unfortunate thoughts tonight, Talon was hungry in more ways than one.
He stopped outside of the club and dusted himself off just in case his speed kicked up any on his clothes, he couldn't chance going in there without looking completely pristine.
The Body guard outside the club saw him coming and moved the velvet ropes for him while others glared from the line, not all though, there were some other stares Sorry people but this is what happens when your a V.I.P., special treatment for special people he thought as he nodded to the body guard and then stepped inside the club.
The atmosphere was immediately different then the one outside. It was darker in here but it was more powerful as well. It was more attractive and more seductive. He loved it, this was his element. This was his place to shine. He grinned as he walked through gyrating bodies and tried to get to a steel door on the other side of the club, many women stopped him trying to get him to dance but he kissed their hands promising one for them them later and just kept moving on.
He got to the door and pulled it open slowly before closing it behind him and closing all the noise out from the dance floor and then ran up the dark stairs to the all the V.I.P. rooms, he walked down to the fifth room which was his and opened the door to see no one but an attendant standing there
"Is No one here for me?"Talon asked uninterestedly but the attendant shook his head and said that his woman would be arriving shortly and Talon grinned, now there was time for him to get comfortable he sat on a black velvet couch and poured two glasses of red wine, one for his woman and the other for himself and took a sip from it slowly. Sweet, just like blood.
"Send her in when she is ready then and turn on my song"the Attendant nodded and went over to a radio and put on Secret by the pierces and Talon started swaying his fingers to the beat it was a good song, especially for one from now. Talon had always kept up with the times though
Gotta Secret Can ya keep it? Swear this one you'll save Better lock it in your pocket taking this one to the grave
Talon smiled as he listened to the words, Everyone had secrets, even him. He wondered what his new victims would be?

Leila Rebecca Vixen was one hell of a character and she knew it. She was strange, most people didn’t know what to do with her. So she let them do whatever they wanted. She snickered to herself, that was her own private joke. She combed out her long, currently black, hair as she looked into her mirror with eyes that were stunning in an icy way, such a light blue they were considered piercing by most. She knew she was gorgeous, but tonight she felt extra so. There was just something about it…and it may be due to the fact of what she was wearing, it could just be her mood. She wasn’t sure.
She smirked and spun a bit. Her back was all healed up, and entirely exposed in the short backless black dress she wore. She felt gorgeous in it, and it shimmered a little, all in black so her eyes stood out more. Her boss said to be alluring or whatever. And she had gone all out with the best dress she owned. The only dress she owned that could be considered a dress really, when she thought about it. Slightly sad but oh well. It was pretty all the same.
Another reason there was an extra light about Vix was because she was excited. Why? She was doing something new tonight. She wasn’t sure exactly what was going on, but did it matter? Occasionally, The Burning Candle lent out their girls to the Dark Kiss’s VIP room, and when her boss asked if she wanted to be one of them, she had figured: fuck, why not? It was all in good fun or whatever. Besides, she was assured this was a very different kind of client, and that was something that interested her. All she knew was it was vamps. And vamps had the fangs. She had never been bitten before, and wasn’t nervous about it because at this point? She still had no idea vamps could tell what you were by your blood. Ignorant child.
Too busy being excited to notice, Vix flounced over to her bed, where her shoes sat waiting for her. Sitting, she tugged them on, but when she stood she felt so fucking tall, which wasn’t that strange, she was about 5’8 which was pretty tall for a chick. But the shoes added a good four inches or so. Though, they made her legs, totally showcased by the short dress, look extra showy and long, and she fully approved of that little detail. Oh fuck yes, she looked damn gorgeous and she knew it. She also knew she was running a little bit late, but why rush perfection? She wanted to make sure she was ready for this lovely time of hers tonight, and for her client. She’d rather them like what they get and have to wait a little, than not want to play with her at all and her get there on time. It seemed like a duh to her.
Plus, waiting just helped with the anticipation, so you better look damn good when you got there. She laughed at the thought. Yeah, it was wacky, but it was totally true and she knew it. If you are gonna make them wait, make them wait for a good reason. And she thought this dress was a very good reason. That and the fact that her hair was as soft as silk, and it took skill to make dyed hair feel that soft. Thank you very much, the little dancer masochist was a genius.
She left her little house that she shared with far too many other girls and headed for the vamp district. That was the one down side, in her opinion, of being here. She loved the fact that she could get hurt whenever she wanted, that she didn’t have to pay rent, no parents to bug her, and they thought she was a powerful witch or something like that. She hated that she had to share her space with like, four other girls. It was aggravating, who wanted to do that? I mean really? It was so fucking stupid. She guessed it was so that they bonded or some such shit, but Vix refused to bond with the other girls. Well, not that they were bad, she just wasn’t a social type of gal. At least not with other gals.
She preferred male company.
She smirked, hence why she was excited, because this was garenteed male company. No chance of it maybe being a female like when she was at the club. It was a certainty that she would be staying with a male for however long he thought she was amusing. It didn’t bother her to think that if he didn’t he’d send her away. It would be his loss and she’d just move along to someone who would want to fuck her more. That was the simple equation to her.
Vix made it to the Dark Kiss exactly ten minutes after she was supposed to be there. The boss’s jaw dropped, saying he appreciated the effort she went through without saying it out loud, and she grinned. But all the same he lectured her, telling her she was supposed to be there before he was, blah blah blah…now she was late and he was there, blah blah blah…whatever. Dude could deal and in returned he’d get a damn pretty package when she finally did show up. All the same, some random chick took ahold of her wrist and started to none too gently tug her through the crowd of gyrating dancers.
When the door closed behind them and she couldn’t hear the music anymore, she jumped. Fuck. Vix liked music when she was trying to be flirty or cute or seductive. It was easier that way. Fifth door down she was told and then mystery girl disappeared. Well okay then. She arched a brow but then shrugged. And counted the doors as she made her way down the hall. One…two…three…four…and five. She turned the handle and walked in, immediately hearing the music and smiling a little. Good song.
And then she saw the man she would be at the hands of tonight. Well hot damn. She blinked a little. ”And here I thought I was gorgeous” she said, she couldn’t help it. She knew it was forward and shouldn’t be said out loud to be polite and blah blah, but who really cared? Not her obviously. She made her way over, but didn’t sit. She knew her way around a man or two, most liked to be able to tell their female company when to sit. Besides, he was gorgeous, like drop dead-ly so. But she wanted to prove she was too. And this dress looked more gorgeous when she was standing up.

Even though Talon was here against his will, he found the place entirely amusing. He had been a lot of places in his long life and none of them had ever been quite like this one. He had even been to an Asylum before but there was never anything quite like this. A place where people who were out of their damn minds mingled with those that were not so crazy...who were just depressed.
That was part of the problem of this place though, There were some people who were here who didn't belong here at all. Talon was one of them and he knew that now, as smart and charming as he had always been, he had never expected his best friend to betray him. He never in a million years thought that he would be the one who would turn on him, and for what? Power? The people, the clan that they had stayed with for a long time had always favored Talon, so naturally he was jealous but he had taken it too far when he killed her...and when he made Talon to believe that he needed help.
His version of help of course was to leave him here, leave him in a place where you are not allowed to leave. Talon sighed mentally. He didn't have time to be sitting there thinking of such things that only made him angry. He couldn't be angry right now, that would be bad for what he was doing tonight.
He grinned as he thought of it. Talon being who he was, wouldn't be him if he didn't have fun in the company of a woman. Having fun meaning sex and drinking the lovely woman's blood. The club that he was now at specialized in this so Talon came here often and plus he was quite friendly with the owner of this place so he was here often enough even without coming up to this room which was his room.
He even thought of asking Anya (who owned this club) if she would be willing to let him have his name engraved on the door. He almost laughed out right as he sat there waiting on the velvet couches and listened to the song playing in the background. He sipped the wine he had just poured and glanced over at the other glass he had just placed on the table for his woman when she arrived.
He didn't even know who it was. He knew it wasn't someone he usually bit from because one: they were always on time and Two, he had specially requested someone new tonight. After a while of coming back to the same Vampire you start to get a little attached and Talon just didn't want to have to deal with that. So he had new ones brought in every few weeks and it wasn't even like they were hard to find so he wasn't making hassle for anyone. In this town there were many women who wanted the bite, not because they were crazy per say because a lot of them were more because it was intriguing and how it felt.
A vampires bite could go two ways, the pain route. Which usually happened when the person resisted or the vampire didn't like them very much (Talon had done this to quite a few people) and the pleasure route which was what Talon liked to do, he liked to make the person feel good because he was feeling good and being the charmer that he was the happiness of women was very important to him.
He crossed his legs and his foot dangled in the wind while he waited and his fingers swayed to the song that was on repeat. Talon would here nothing else but this song while he was with a woman up here, to him it created a mood of mystery and Talon knew for a fact that women ate that mystery crap up. He smirked as he thought about it, he himself was mysterious all on his own but there was nothing wrong with creating a little ambiance now was there?
As he thought that he heard the big metal door below open letting the music from the club, that Talon almost forgot was there, spill in and then heard the door shut again making it once again silent except for the song that was created the mood in the room. He was excited now because he knew that his woman was now coming and yes she was his, even if he had no idea who she was. Merely because for this entire night he could do what ever he wished with her and if he liked what he saw it would be more nights as well.
When the woman in question was outside the door Talon just smirked and sat there sipping his wine, he wanted to see how she looked but he was patient and he had always heard that good things come to those who wait.
When she walked in his smirk grew, yes, that was definitely worth the wait. He unashamedly looked the girl up and down and licked his lips. He definitely approved of this woman and mentally he was hoping that she was going to be as fun as she looked because if she was then they were going to have a lot of fun together many many times.
She made her way over to him showing off her long legs and wonderful body and he simply sat there smirking, then she spoke saying she thought she was gorgeous and he grinned. Forward. Confident. He liked that. In answer he sipped his wine and spoke in his silk like voice, his accent coming out a bit. He had been a settler from Britain and while mostly everyone had lost their accents after being here so long he had not. At least not all the way, most people thought never really seemed to notice and he always found it interesting when someone did.
"Well Darling you definitely are gorgeous so your not wrong there" he licked his lips again and looked her over up and down and up and down. Yes, this worked. this worked very well for him he thought with a grin. He moved easily a bit over on the couch as she stood there, he guessed waiting to be invited to sit and he smiled and spoke again
"Won't you sit down? I have poured you wine"he said with a small gesture over to the glass he poured for her before she had even arrived here. It didn't matter how long this took they had all night he thought with a grin and then spoke again
"So...What is your name?"he said with a raise of his eyebrow. He didn't want to know in effort to get to know her, he wanted to know so that if she was good he could tell Anya that he wanted her again and he was certainly hoping that she was good.

Vix wasn’t used to working somewhere that wasn’t the Hell of the Burning Candle. She wasn’t used to dancing and waiting for boys to pick her. She always got picked of course, mostly because she was a challenge. Vix was the only Hell Dancer that refused to scream, no matter what they did to her. It made her a challenge and her boys liked that, it meant she got picked over the others from time to time and meant that she got paid more, not that she did it for the money. She did it because she was here for self harm, she liked being hurt and that meant she got hurt more.
Tonight was different. Tonight her boss had asked her to come to the Dark Kiss and be one of the girls in the VIP rooms. Mostly cause her boss knew she didn’t mind letting whoever do whatever it was that they wanted to, and that was what they wanted here from what she understood. That and biting the victim. Which she was all good with, she had never been bit before and she wanted to know what that was like! She didn’t see what was so wrong about new experiences and all that bullshit and stuff like that. So she had agreed.
Apparently the owners had an agreement or something, it meant that he could send his girls over here. Mostly because most of the girls that worked in Hell were witches, just like Vix pretended to be most of the time. She didn’t actively pretend anything really, she just left a few key words laying around here or there and everyone just assumed that she was a witch. She couldn’t be a human, no, of course not. There were no humans here or anything like that. She was totally a witch. She smirked at her own thought process. She was damn good a pretending too, no one had caught her yet doing it. And she was pretty focused on making sure that no one did. She didn’t want to know what people thought they could do if they knew she was human and couldn’t protect herself.
She didn’t feel like being made into a personal punching bag, or slave, or something stupid like that. She hated the idea of that. SO she kept it to herself, and no one had noticed yet! She was damn good at this. Maybe instead of a dancer she should be an actress or something. She snorted. Yeah right, like she would ever want to do that. She preferred her life style, preferred getting hit a time or two and being the sick little masochist she really was, she liked it. What was so wrong with that if she was enjoying herself? No one should think anything was wrong if the other person was having fun. Who were you to judge? Ugh people just pissed her off sometimes. And now she was taking herself off that mental tangent before she made herself angry.
She had gotten to the Dark Kiss late, but it took time to work on the perfection that was her current state. She liked being something to wait for, even if it meant that she was late a time or two. And damn was she something to wait for. She was lead over to where the VIP rooms were and jumped when the door was closed behind her. She hadn’t been expected that, or the silence that followed the door slamming behind her. She was used to working with music at all times. Vix didn’t like a lack of noise, it made it harder to work in her opinion.
She made her way down to the fifth door, where she was told she was supposed to hve been a good five or ten minutes ago, but oh well, they would live right? She was something hot anyway, he wouldn’t mind waitng…whoever he was. She was curious to see. She had heard vamps were unnaturally beautiful, but they didn’t often come into Hell so she hadn’t run into one more than once or twice and was curious to see if the rumors about the breed of supernatural creatures was true.
She was pleased to report it was. Or maybe it was just this one. Well either way, hot damn. And she made a comment out loud about it as well, not being able to help herself. She wasn’t the type of girl who was that great at keeping comments to herself. She preferred the blunt approach to things instead. Made life more interesting at the very least. Besides, the music was on in this room, and making her relax a little, letting her know she didn’t have to work in silence at least. She sucked so badly at working in silence.
She stood by where he sat, wanting him to be able to see what he requested and knowing that some males liked being able to tell the female when to sit for some reason. If the way he was looking at her up and down and licking his lips was any indication, she figured it had been worth the effort to make herself look damn hot tonight. See? Worth the wait, she liked to be worth the wait. It made it more fun, and it made them want to have fun more. It worked out for both of them in the end, didn’t it?
He spoke and she grinned. For more than one reason. First off, he had an accent to die for and if she was a weaker woman, she would have happily swooned just from the voice. But she was stronger than that, or at least she liked to pretend that she was stronger than that. The second reason was that he had called her gorgeous, and hadn’t denied that he was as well. Points in his favor. She, unlike most women, found confidence in a man attractive. It meant she didn’t have to baby them and compliment them all the time. It was better when they knew it for themselves.
He moved aside and asked her to sit, motioning to the wine as well and she sat happily, arranging her long and entirely showcased legs so that she didn’t seem like a slut or anything. Dancer she was, happy to let boys have their way she was, but she was also strong and had her priorities, as bizarre as they were. ”Why thank you, what a gentleman” she teased with a grin, taking the wine glass in question and taking a small sip. She liked to be in control of herself, which meant she didn’t often have alcohol and never took drugs. But she could play along.
He asked her name and she smirked a little. To play her usual game or not to. Usually what nickname she gave the boys who approached her depended on how they approached her and whether or not they seemed like they would be any fun. She liked to gauge this so that way she knew which nickname to give them. It meant that she could tell what she had thought of them just by the name they called her, it was a good system. He had called for her, so she had to judge that all on her own. But he seemed yummy…so why not? ”Leila Rebecca Vixen, but please, call me Vix” she said with a smirk and took another small sip of wine. ”What’s yours” she asked, playing polite which she sucked at.
