Every girl had to eat. And sadly with the way Cin’s stomach was currently yelling at her, she knew that she had to eat right then. Dammit. Cin took pretty damn bad care of herself, she had to eat more often then she did. Seeing as she never let the panther in her rule and make her shift, she didn’t burn up her metabolism like most other cats tended to, but she still needed to eat more than a human…and half the time she ate less than one. What could she say? She was busy! She hunted down the scum that the Wardens in charge listed for her at night, or she ran, and she was busy being a Warden and taking care of the crazies when she wasn't doing that…getting scratched up by nutters, oh yeah, it was so much fun. Not that they put a dent in her.
Cin needed to move a lot, she couldn’t sit still, so she needed something to constantly occupy her. And obviously that something wasn’t eating. She was too busy to bother with that shit. Like sleeping, she rarely bothered to sleep either, there was not point she had too much to do to sleep. Bullshit.
Her leather jacket, that she could finally start to wear again seeing as the weather had turned nippy once more, well nippy by her cat standards, squeeked in that protesting way that leather tended to as she slid off her bike. She was off shift to bother being a Warden the crazies were someone else's business right now, but she had no bounties until later, so she was stuck in between lives. Seeing as she was…she was dressed like herself for once. It was like a uniform for Cin in a way, leather jacket, black tank top and tight fitted black jeans that were tucked into her riding boots. All black. No color. The only color Cin displayed was her tan skin, her hazel eyes and the purple and blue streaks in her hair that could only be seen when she moved considering they were hidden underneath her curtain of silky black hair. All dark, all mysterious. It amused her. Well, that and her piercings. The silver stung like it always did, but she would rather be used to the pain than be incapacitated by it if someone pulled a silver weapon on her.
She slid off her glasses and tucked them into the neck of her low black tank as she moved. It made the fabric dip a bit, but nothing revealing. Cin never revealed anything and never gave anything away. It was who she was. Who she always would be. Temper and fighting now, sentiment and love and showing off later if she bothered to have time.
A pause in between her two lives meant she could settle down and give in to her stomach’s demands. She wasn’t Cinnamon, the tough ass Warden that gave nothing away. And she wasn’t Cin the bounty hunter and cat. She was just... Cinnamon. Funny how she didn’t quite know who “herself” was.
The Full Moon’s music hit her sensitive ears as she entered, bypassing a flustered hostess to take her own seat. Eventually the poor girl learned that Cin would take her own seat and it would just be in her best interest to follow with a menu. That was just the way Cin was. Sliding into a booth in the back where she could observe, she settled into the back corner of the booth and offered the hostess one of her rare smiles as she handed her the menu, showing that despite all claims to the opposite, Cin actually did have a heart. When she bothered to show it. She had made the girl flustered, least she could do was show she had some form of heart. Asking the girl to get her a soda and no she didn’t care what type it was as long as it wasn’t diet, she settled into her seat to watch the room. It was a bad old habit, know your surroundings. She didn’t glance at the menu, seeing as she knew what she wanted. She simply scanned the room…and wondered if anyone even passingly amusing would enter.

Damn if he had to do one more nighttime search and rescue mission again Anthony had a mind to quit! The girl he found, poor thing, had MPD and was a Level C patient. LEVEL C! She was nice enough and kind enough to have him carry her home on his shift but jeez if she could get out who knows who else could get out of that building!! The werecat shuddered at the thought and zipped his leather jacket, trapping more heat into his body. Some days he missed the warm jungles of Vietnam, sure it rained a lot but it was better than freezing your toes off, which Tony nearly did in tiger form. For something that has a lot of fur you'd think it'd be able to stay warm, especially since the tiger can live in snow! He looked around The Wild and saw that they didn't need him to get the place running for the night, so Tony waved once to his seating host and left, taking the keys to the cashier as well. Couldn't trust some of the people here, even those that worked for him. He shivered once outside and started walking against the wind toward the restaurant he KNEW served the best meat in town. Full Moon. It was great, and because it served mostly meat, werecats loved to go there. He checked his watch and saw that he had plenty of time for dinner, and a nice one too. He smiled and opened the door to the restaurant, sighing as the warm air of the place penetrated his body. Yea, it was cold. The seating hostess looked rather flustered and Tony's ears picked up the sound of one of his fellow Wardens. What was her name? Cin? Eh he'll ask her later. He unzipped his jacket, letting a blue t-shirt show through. He also shaved off the goatee he was growing. It'd grow back, he didn't like how it was starting to look anyway. He also got tired of just trimming it and keeping it neat looking, that took a lot of work, and he needed to focus on his actual work now. He had to check the bracelets and see if those were functioning, he also had to do his Warden walk arounds and search and rescue missions. If anybody needed a vacation around here it had to be the Wardens. Working their asses off only for the patients to hate their guts. He didn't mind it though, he'd rather save a life than have them freeze to death. The hostess walked up to him and asked him how many were in his party, he just said he'd find a table and smiled at her. She nodded and smiled back, cheeks turning pink. Tony sometimes had that effect on people, smirk or smile and they'd think you were flirting. Who's to say he wasn't? He walked toward the back of the restaurant and spotted the werecat with the purple and blue streaks in her black hair. Yep, he saw her around. He walked back over to her and smirked, brown eyes staring into her hazel ones. "Hey Shrimp, this seat taken?" What he was 6' 2"! Everyone was a shrimp! Words: 560? Cin hummed her approval when the waitress brought her a coke. Not her favorite, but not damn bad either. It was too early to start drinking just yet, she wasn’t going to get into that. Sugar and caffeine would do her just fine for now, she supposed. Not as good as the good stuff but good enough and the werecat didn’t drink coffee so it would have to do as a replacement for now. She took a long drag of it, the sugar and bubbles making her almost smile, but Cin didn’t smile. She was too much of a bitch to smile too much. That was probably why most of her charges didn’t like her much. Or it could have something do to with the fact that she didn’t bullshit and let them mess around with her.
Yeah, it was probably that. She caught the waitress’s attention and got her back over here. Poor dear probably wanted to be far away from Cin who had nearly torn her head off one time or two when she had come in here before. Cin was in a semi-good mood right now though, she wouldn’t tear anyone’s head off unless they did something to warrant it. Lucky her, someone always did something to warrant it sooner or later.
She handed the young woman her menu and asked her to bring her a steak as rare as she could manage. The waitress didn’t seem surprised, and it wasn’t likely that this was the first time someone had ordered this from her. Usually Cin preffered a burger, nice and quick. But she had time on her hands, why not get something she would actually fucking enjoy rather than something she would just inhale as quick as inhumanly possible? Yeah, she wasn’t sure what mood she was in anymore. She wasn’t sure who she was anymore.
Before she could brood, she had company.
She looked up and saw Tony. Did she know him personally? Slightly. She knew all the other Wardens slightly. Not well, but who did she ever know well? They never knew her they knew whatever persona she decided to project. The Warden Persona was a lot like the real Cin, whoever that was, but it wasn’t exactly her. It was more of a tough ass, harder shell, just plain a bitch. She had to be. She was small, she was a woman, and she was a werecat where most Wardens were nulls. She needed to be twice as tough as the boys or they wouldn’t let her play with them. It was fucked up but it was true. Masochism was still alive and well in the world. Human women police got no respect either.
”If you don’t call me Shrimp its not. Call me Shrimp again and it is” she replied in the tough way that she was known for. She didn’t let anyone take an inch, too afraid that they would take a mile. She didn’t let anyone close. She didn’t let anyone know who she was. She was too busy looking for her brother, he was the only person who probably would see the real CIn again. She was perfectly happy hiding away who she was. She was an actress after all.
She might have been an actress.
For a moment she lamented. Just a moment, and none of it showed on her face. She wondered what would had happened if she hadn’t gotten Danny killed. Her other brothers insisted she hadn’t gotten him killed, but it was true wasn’t it? Would she have gone on to be an actress, and not a bounty hunter? Would she be a soft girl again though a bit wild at times? Or would she be who she was today?
She pushed away these thoughts. She was who she was, the if only’s and the what ifs would only fuck up her calm and cause her not to be able to fight right. She couldn’t have that. Not that she intended to get into a bar room brawl tonight but a Warden’s work was never done around here, was it?
”So what brings you to the Full Moon?” she asked the other Warden, only half interested in the answer. She wanted to pass the time until her meal came was all.

Tony smirked at the girl and slid into the seat across from the werecat. The waitress was waiting for his drink order so he ordered himself a water and told her that as soon as it hit 5:00 to bring him a real drink. He couldn't go an entire day without one, well he could but he'd be a very cranky werecat if he did. He put one of his hands on the table and looked up at Cin, smirking, "Alright Cin, and to answer your other question, The Wild isn't going to open for a couple more hours so I thought I'd get some hot food. I really didn't feel like chasing any rabbits." . That last part was just to see her face, he didn't like 'hunting' in the cold, it just made him feel worse. The waitress brought him his water and he thanked her with a quick nod and a smirk. He sighed and leaned his head back against the booth. His brain was going a mile a minute. Security measures, how to make an actual AI system (tell no one), fixing those bracelets and try to get a meeting with Miss Sera the Sane Witch about replacing some of the older models. Trying to keep ahead of the sane bracelet wearing patients is a 24 hour job. They'd never crack the code though, none of them did, and IF they did their bracelet would start an alarm if it wasn't opened the correct way. How was it opened the correct way? Only he and the Blake Sisters knew how. Nobody else, and he wouldn't tell anybody else either. Maybe his mate but who knows who that would be. It could be a patient and he didn't want that. No, this secret would go with him to the grave, unless he got fired from his position but he highly doubted it. The Blake Sisters were happy with his work, well, the ones he's seen so far. He wasn't too keen on seeing the Vampire Blake anytime soon. The waitress came back to take his order and after a quick glance at the menu he asked for a rare burger with everything on it and fries. The fries wouldn't be as good as the burger, to him anyway, but he wanted to feel warm inside and out thank you! He then held her forearm quickly before she left and ordered a brandy. Myth was that if you drank one you'd feel a lot warmer, and boy did Tony need the warmth. "So Miss Cin, besides being hungry why are you in here? Getting out of Warden duty?" Anthony took another sip of his water, waiting for her to respond to his question. It was an honest enough question, then again Anthony wasn't a very honest man. People, BS staff that weren't patients, knew he was the mechanic. They knew he designed the bracelets. For now, Tony was fine with just being known as the guy that runs The Wild and a Warden. The waitress brought him his drink and Tony thanked her before sipping it. Ahhh that felt better, he was already starting to feel warmer. Of course he knew this was a myth that was busted, but he was going to go outside after he was done eating anyway so he was going to freeze no matter what. He put his finger on the rim of the glass and traced the rim, looking at the beautiful werecat across from him. Words: 600...something Muse: Fine, ignore Anthony's little blurb at the end he thinks a lot of girls a beautiful Comments: BLAAAHHH Outfit: First post go look

Cin had a bad habit of sticking to herself as often as possible. Why? Because, well mostly because she could more than anything else. But there were actual reasons behind it. Most of the Wardens were witches, nulls, and she was a werecat. She had a temper, she was more volatile, and even without her feline form she could rip most of the other wardens in half if they pissed her off enough. There was also the fact that…well…her only preferred company was her brothers. And given that they were all dead or missing…she wasn’t going to have the company she preferred any time soon. She also had been responsible for more of their deaths than she was happy about.
So that made her a loner. It was a damn good pair of reasons if you asked Cin. Part of it was, also, that she liked being on her own. She didn’t have to worry about them fucking up her good mood. She didn’t have to worry about who she was pretending to be. She could just be Cin…whoever that was. She was never sure anymore, she wasn’t even sure that she had known to begin with. Ugh, moping again. That shit needed to end.
That being said, she wasn’t sure that she really minded Tony’s company. He was another werecat Warden. He wasn’t the type she thought she could snap in two. So that was a good thing, she could deal with this. Either way, she was in a good mood. She took another sip of her soda. He called her Cin, which was better than shrimp which he had called her moments before. And she let him sit without too much bitching. She hated being called small. She knew she was tiny, thanks, she didn’t need the reminder with the nicknames.
She had asked why he was here. Not that she really cared, she was just making some form of conversation. But all the same, she was polite and listened to his answer, because it would be stupid to ask a question and not bother with the answer, whether or not she was doing it for the sake of conversation. She also just plain wanted her steak. ”I dislike rabbit. Too tiny” she said, grinning ferally, dangerously. It was playing around though. She didn’t change to hunt, she just let the month push her to changing rather than changing of her own freee will. She didn’t let anyone know that though.
She looked up, almost lazily, when the waitress came back. But she wasn’t fooled. She still made a point to be closer to Tony than her. Jeez, Cin needed to work on her people skills. She had only threatened to kill this one twice though, this chick needed to be less friggen jumpy, fuck. She worked in a place that usually catered to werecats, that meant she should expect tempers. Even still, she couldn’t help the lazy smile that settled on her lips, like a cat that had gotten its paws in the creamers, or a big cat that had spotted its prey. He asked for a brandy, Tony that is, and Cin let him do so. She wasn’t ready to have the big stuff yet.
She was happy with her soda, and on that note she took another long sip of it.
He ordered and she was happy to note she wasn’t ht eonly one getting slightly rare meat tonight. Well, again, the kitchen shouldn’t be surprised. He asked why she was here and she shrugged. She would lie, usually, but decided she didn’t feel like lying. She was in a good mood tonight, and she wanted to roll with it for a while longer. ”Don’t have any bounties yet, and I got off Warden duty early. Figured why not eat.” she said with a little shrug. All the Wardens knew that Cin was a bounty hunter. Hell, she was the reason that many of the kids who tried to escape didn’t try to do so again. Cin could be a scary bitch when she wanted to be. And most of the time she really did want to be.
She shook her head. ”Besides, I never even try to get out of Warden duty” she said, with a roll of her eyes, offering a thankful smile to the waitress when she brought Cin her meat, waiting for a moment until Tony got his as well before she cut it open and thanked the Waitress fully, it was wonderfully bloody. The waitress seemed surprised, and Cin didn’t really care! She could seem surprised all she wanted. She didn’t spare another moment of thought about it, instead she put the first bite of meat in her mouth and purred…literally. It was heaven.
